TDC Wholesale Network Capacity Services

TDC Wholesale Network Capacity Services (NCS) is a point-to-point SDH and DWDM connection based on TDC's own Fiber Network. It is state of the art Quality bandwidth, with local access possibility based on the latest fiber optics backbone technology in Europe and US. NCS provides a secure connection fully managed by TDC on a Nordic, European and on national basis.

TDC Wholesale Network Capacity Services
Bandwidth is offered in a spectrum from 2 Mbit/s to 2.488 Gbit/s (STM-16). Furthermore wavelengths are available at the speed up to 10 Gbit/s. Both SDH and Wavelength can be offered with Ethernet interfaces. TDC offers you high quality - up to guaranteed 99,99% availability.

The network is designed to minimize the risk of interruption. Your solution will be tailor made for your needs - our Network Capacity Services can e.g. be combined in regards to quality, fault handling, protection and price to fit your specific needs.

Service availability
Service is available on a National, Nordic and International basis. Connections on National and Nordic basis are available at a wide range of Nordic cities. The Nordic Network is extended further out in the world to reach cities like Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Hamburg and London. TDC also offers the NCS service through partners to for example Russia and China.

Connections provide a high quality transmission between your specified locations with various termination options.

Transmission bandwidth can be connected directly in Telehouse premises, at TDC termination points or with local access directly to your premises.

•    Ethernet interfaces are available for both SDH and Wavelength services and are handled on request.
•    The wavelength service preserves the client signal overhead unchanged, i.e. it provides a transparent transport service for the physical SDH and Ethernet signal formats
•    1000Base-ZX is a long-haul version of the 1000Base-LX format – also designated 1000Base-LH - but not included in IEEE 802.3z
